A word
from the founder

It all started at Dauphine, and I was really lucky to be supported right from the beginning by the Incubator, via the student programme. Then one thing led to another, and we are now in a very exciting acceleration phase.

Our vision? To become the reference for world cuisine in France and throughout Europe by reinventing the catering business while continuing to launch new services and making our Mamas stars of world cuisine!

Loubna Ksibi, co-founder of Meet My Mama

A little bit
of history

It all started with a startup Weekend at Dauphine in early 2017: Loubna Ksibi, a Dauphine student in the innovation and digital networks master’s programme, and Donia Amara, a graduate of Science Po Paris, “pitch” an idea for a value-added catering service where the cooking would be done by women who are refugees or have emigrated.

The concept was born, Meet My Mama was created. A meeting a few months later with Youssef, who had launched a similar concept via Ticket For Change, enabled the three entrepreneurs to join forces to develop Meet My Mama.

Why can a project in the popular kitchen sector be ambitious and succeed?

Because the DNA is strong and impactful: a project that brings people together around the encounter.

The encounter changes EVERYTHING. It opens you up, it animates you, it transforms you. It is the magic moment of a day, a night, a life. The encounter inspires you. It follows you in your memories. It is full of details. It is anchored in a setting. It takes you out of the present, into the past or into the future.

With Meet my Mama, the encounter is everything. Always spicy. She is smiling. She tells you homemade secrets. She surprises you. She makes you laugh. She moves you. She inspires you. She impresses you. With us, the encounter is a journey. It is an inspiring journey around a world cuisine. It is prepared with love. It is told with passion. It is savoured with pleasure.

With our concept, the meeting is with a Mama. And that changes EVERYTHING.

After the support of the Paris-Dauphine Incubator that launched us, other structures took over: we are now supported by The Family and hosted at Station F (and sometimes at La Ruche and Work Inn).
