A word
from the founder

We went from 2 to 7 people in the team between the beginning and end of our incubation. We grew because everything was put in place to allow us to focus on the essentials. Great offices, an incredibly efficient support team, an exceptional mentor and the PSL network at our disposal. And all of this in a friendly and good-humoured atmosphere!

A little bit
of history

Labtoo was created in 2017 by two childhood friends.

The idea of Labtoo comes from Guillaume’s experience in the world of Research. During his PhD, he realised that it is sometimes very difficult to identify collaborators with specific expertise, and that once they have been identified, it is often long and complicated to set up a contract or collaboration. The compensations are often opaque and unbalanced.

At the same time, research is becoming more and more expensive because it is more and more specialised and requires the use of a growing number of different techniques and very expensive, state-of-the-art equipment.

Once he was convinced that a marketplace for R&D was needed, he contacted Sophie to join him in the project. Sophie, convinced that the project made sense and that it was important to make the best use of the work of researchers, decided to go ahead with it.

And so, the Labtoo adventure began.
